DISTRIBUTION OF NRC COMMENTS ON JOINT OWNERS GROUP AIR OPERATED VALVE PROGRAM DOCUMENT
Dear Mr. Modeen:
The NRC transmitted comments on the Joint Owners Group Air Operated Valve (JOG AOV) program document to NEI in a letter dated October 8, 1999. In the letter, the staff requested that NEI forward the letter and enclosed comments to the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations for distribution to licensees along with the JOG AOV program document. After further consideration, the staff is withdrawing this request and will express its views on the JOG AOV program document to licensees using an appropriate NRC generic communication process.
