To: Joosten, Sandy; Mike, Linda; Lewis, Antoinette; Remsburg, Kristy L_'- t-O11-Cc: Woollen, Mary; Greenwald, Courtney; Taylor, Renee; Pace, Patti; Zimmerman, Jacob SuoJect: P-none iMiessages from Concerned Citizens EDO DEDMRT The following phone messages were taken today. Could you please process as incoming, as DEDR appropriate? DEDCM AO Doris Schiller: (661) 373-3180 Dfa13 Resides near San Onofre Ms. Schiller lives very close to SONGS and is concerned by the restart. Ms. Schiller is very upset that there is a public meeting taking place about SONGS in Maryland instead of California. Ms. Schiller wishes that the meeting was being held in California versus Maryland so that citizens that are affected by the plant can be engaged in "face to face" discussion. Having the meeting webcast for those that cannot attend in unacceptable and she feels that this tactic discourages the public. She would like someone on behalf of the NRC to provide her with a detailed explanation as to why the meeting is being held in Maryland versus California. Otherwise she will write a complaint letter to President Barack Obama.

Harold Johnston 17418 Plaza Sonada San Diego, California 92128 Mr. Johnston has attended two public meetings, both in regards to SONGS. He would like the December 18th public meeting moved to southern California. He thinks that the SONGS plant should be decommissioned. He is concerned that running the plant at 70 percent will cause a debris field; this concerns him because he lives within the vicinity of the plant. He explains that even with the plant running at 70%; if it doesn't work properly then the citizens of California will have major problems.

In his opinion, the plant is defective and should be decommissioned. He would like to see the spent fuel moved away from California, preferably on the front lawn of Congress.

Sabrina VanEngelen Contact: (949) 705-9467 Lives in Orange County Ms. VanEngelen would like the Dec. 181h public meeting to be rescheduled to another date so that concerned citizens like her can contribute their opinions. She feels strongly that this forum should be interactive so that people can participate.

Thank you for your assistance.
