~IK 50-335 Z.Z. Breen 407 468-4248 REPORT MONTH AUGUST 1992 Unit 1 was at 100% power until August 22, 1992; the unit was then reduced in power due to condenser high back pressure. Unit 1 was further reduced to approximately 704 power on August 23, 1992, due to a hurricane warning (Hurricane Andrew). From August 1992, until August 27, 1992, the unit was reduced in power for24, waterbox cleaning. On August 28, 1992, the unit was returned to 1004 power and remained there for the rest of the month.

Zn accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the PORVs or safety valves during the report period.

Breen IIII TELEPHONE 407 468-4248 REPORT MONTH AUGUST 1992 Unit 2 was at 1004 power until August 9, 1992, when the unit was downpowered due to failure of the 2B2 Circulating Water Pump traveling screen. On August 10, 1992, the unit was manually tripped due to a fire in the "C" condensate pump lead box. On August 13, 1992, the unit was returned to power and then held at approximately 304 power for a Chemistry Hold. On August 15, 1992, the unit was held at approximately 834 power due to a 2A2 waterbox tube leak. On August 23, 1992, the unit was reduced in power to approximately 704 due to a hurricane warning (Hurricane Andrew).

On August. 24, 1992, the unit was reduced slightly in power for turbine valve testing; the unit was then held at approximately 784 power due to electrical transmission system grid instability. The unit was at 100% power by the end of the day and remained there for the rest of the month.

Xn accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the PORVs or safety valves during the report period.
