Thc prcdcccssor to this proccdurc divas EPIP-20132. Thc net procedure number is 0-EPIP-20132. Thc primary reason for the change divas to upgrade thc format of the old procedure. Thc new proccdurc also includes notification forms and svorkshccts, additional instructions for communicators and status board kccpcrs, and includes some editorial changes. Old procedure EPIP-20132 has been canceled.

Thc implcmcntation date for O-EPIP-20132, and thc cancellation date for EPIP-20132, is April 28, 1997.

Also cncloscd is onc copy ol'thc Turkey Point Rccovcry Plan. Thc Recovery Plan has bccn rewritten as a site specific document, and nosv includes an Offsitc Post-hurricane Checklist. Revision I of the Recovery Plan was reviewed and approved by the Plant Nuclear Safety Committee to ensure a formal review process. The Rccovcry Plan divas approved on May 1, 1997, and will be reviewed yearly.

FPL has dctcrmincd that thc changes described do not result in a dccrcase in thc effectiveness of the Emcrgcncy Plan.
