September 27 , 2018 Enclosed is an application received by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRG), dated September 19 , 2018 , from ISOFLEX Radioactive , LLC , for a specific license (PXB225.00) to export Category 1 and 2 quantities of lridium-192 , Selenium-75 and Ytterb i um-169 to Israel. The sealed source will be used for industrial radiography. Since Is r ael is on the restricted destinations list (10 CFR Part 110.29), before taking action on this new request , we would appreciate your views , in accordance with established procedures and from the overall perspective of the Executive Bra h , as to whether the requested export meets the applicable criteria in the Atomic Energy t f 1954 , as amended.
