RESPONSE TO FREEDOM OF                                NRC-2021-000180              1 INFORMATION ACT (FOIA) REQUEST                              RESPONSE TYPE INTERIM        FINAL PART I.D -- COMMENTS Upon receipt of your request, we tasked the Office of Nuclear Security and Incident Response (NSIR) and the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) in NRC's headquarters, as well as Regions I, II, III, and IV, to search for any responsive records. Only Region I located responsive documents. We note that the NRC did receive a FOIA request back in 1984 seeking records and found none at that time; our office just processed a more recent request , NRC-2021-000172, for this same matter. The response to this request (which includes a copy of the record and response from 1984) is publicly available in ADAMS as ML21179A019. Records with an ML Accession Number are publicly available in the NRC's Public Electronic Reading Room at http:www.nrc.gov/reading-rm.html.
