SYSTEM; COMPONENTS, AND STRUCTURES:

l The population includes all safety related field fabricated tanks. These j

tanks are in the Boron Recycle System, Chemical and Volume Control System, and Diesel Generator Fuel Oil System.

Included in the population is the overall tank construction including items that form a part of or are attached to the tank bottom, shell or roof. These include:

Bottom, shell and roof assembly including welding Flanged nozzles from the tank out to the face of the nozzle flange.

Welded nozzles from the tank out to, but not including the first circumferencial pipe weld.

Threaded nozzles from the tank out to but not including the first piping connection. NOTE:

If nozzle is capped, the cap is i

included.

i Safety related internal piping.

i Anchor bolt ring or saddle.

Manholes including covers.

Seismic restraints.

Miscellaneous welded attachments for items such as:

Instrument and pipe supports, shear bars, reinforcing pads, ladders, davit and diaphragm supports, etc.

Installation of nuts and washers for anchor bolts.

Grouting l

POPULATION BOUNDARY:

All safety related Field Fabricated Tanks as shown on CBI's Construction drawings whose installation is complete, final QC inspected and accepted, and located in Units 1 and 2 and common areas are included in the population.

At the tank grout and concrete pad. Included in the population j

are the tank structural supports.

At the anchor bolts.

At the face of flange for flanged nozzles.

I At the welding end for welded nozzles.

At the electrical connection.

At the interface of the tank nozzle and the instrumentation, vent, duct or piping connection.

At the first pipe weld outside of the tank for internal piping.

SPECIFIC INTERFACES:

The population shall not include:

Concrete foundations, including embedded anchors.

l These are included in the Concrete Placement population.

Electrical connections. These are included in the Cables population.

Instrumentation and instrumentation connections. These are included in the Instrumentation Equipment Installation population.

Large bore pipe welds and small bore pipe welds to welded-end nozzles. These are included in the Large. Bore Pipe-Welds / Material and Small Bore Piping and Instrument Pipe / Tubing Welds / Material populations, respectively.

Solted joints (and associated bolts, nuts, gaskets, etc.) to flanged nozzles. These are included in the Piping System Bolted Joints / Materials population.

• Concrete encased, steel lined tanks. These are included in the Liners population.

Duct sheet metal pieces. These are included in the HVAC Ducts and Plenums population.

Internal diaphragas. These are non-safety related.
