By letter (Reference LR-N97288) dated May 14, 1997 PSE&G requested a revision to I

the Technical Specifications for Salem Units 1 and 2. This license change request (LCR S97-12) proposed revision to the Control Room Emergency Air Conditioning System surveillance requirements which would extend a filter testing boundary and adjust the associated acceptance criteria. The advantage afforded by the proposed change no longer exists. Therefore, PSE&G is requesting withdrawal of LCR S97-12.
