As you know, Merrimac is one of six Massachusetts coastal communities that are within the ten-mile radius of the nuclear power plant. We are writing to express the board's support of the request by Stephen Comley Sr. of We The People to schedule a hearing to prove an opportunity for past and present first responders to testify whether they believe Seabrook Station's evacuation plan can be effectively implemented safely and timely.
