Currently, TVAs position statement is due on March 15, 2019. We would like to request another extension in the hope that both parties can reach a mutually amicable resolution through mediation.
We would like to request an extension to Monday, April 15, 2019.

Ms. Wetzel has requested mediation through Nuclear Regulatory Commissions Alternative Dispute Resolution program with Cornell University. We will be agreeing to proceed with mediation.
As discussed on our call, thank you for providing an additional 30 day extension in light of the parties intentions to proceed with mediation. TVAs new response date will be Friday, March 15, 2019.
Once the date for mediation is confirmed, TVA will inform you of that date and keep you appraised as to the results of mediation.

She signed an agreement to mediate. The next step would be to wait and see if TVA agrees to mediate. I have conferred with Ms. Wetzel, and she would prefer to travel to Atlanta and meet with you in the OSHA office. The problem with meeting in a library or coffee shop in Chattanooga is that she could easily be recognized by a fellow TVA employee and there would be a lack of privacy.
Our availability in January remains unchanged: we are not available on January 8 or 24, and I have mid-day commitments (from about 1130 to 2) on January 10, 11, and 16. In early February, we are generally available except for February 1 and 14.

As it happens, Feb. 1 is a date I cannot do, as I have a legal conference that day. Although I do not plan to attend your meeting with Ms. Wetzel, I will be available by phone or email in case you or she should have questions.
I have conferred with Ms. Wetzel, and she would prefer to travel to Atlanta and meet with you in the OSHA office. The problem with meeting in a library or coffee shop in Chattanooga is that she could easily be recognized by a fellow TVA employee and there would be a lack of privacy.
Our availability in January remains unchanged: we are not available on January 8 or 24, and I have mid-day commitments (from about 1130 to 2) on January 10, 11, and 16. In early February, we are generally available except for February 1 and 14.
