STATION BLACKOUT SCHEDULE COMMITMENT SALEM AND HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATIONS DOCKET NOS. 50-272, 50-311 AND 50-354 on April 30, 1990, Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G) submitted the station Blackout Supplemental Response to the NRC as required by the Nuclear Utility Management and Research Council (NUMARC) request dated January 4, 1990. In that submittal, PSE&G described the major findings of a third party audit conducted by Devonrue Ltd. and Bishop, Cook, Purcell and Reynolds. PSE&G also committed to providing NRC a schedule to resolve those audit findings by June 30, 1990.

PSE&G has completed its assessment of the audit report's findings and has concluded that considerable efforts and resources will be needed to fully resolve them. Based on this assessment, PSE&G underestimated the time needed to provide a completion schedule.
