REGULATORY INFORMATION CONFERENCE 2019 SOLICITATION FOR MEMBERSHIP ON THE TECHNICAL REVIEW COMMITTEE AND THE PLANNING COMMITTEE It is time to begin initial preplanning for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs) 31st Annual Regulatory Information Conference (RIC), which will take place March 12-14, 2019. | |||
The RIC is the largest NRC meeting, and its continued success begins with effective planning. | |||
From program content to planning and logistics, early and frequent communication, coordination, and collaboration across the offices and regions is key. | |||
As co-sponsors of the RIC, the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation and the Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research offer an opportunity to participate by designating a representative to serve on the RIC Planning Committee (PC) and one to serve on the RIC Technical Review Committee (TRC). | |||
The PC: The PC will be established in late August. Members will participate in periodic planning meetings, discuss conference initiatives and activities, communicate important due dates and RIC-related information back to their respective offices, and track progress made or delays encountered on assigned tasks. | |||
* Time CommitmentSix meetings are planned during the months of September through February. The meetings usually take place on Wednesdays, 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. | |||

REGULATORY INFORMATION CONFERENCE 2019 SOLICITATION FOR MEMBERSHIP ON THE TECHNICAL REVIEW COMMITTEE AND THE PLANNING COMMITTEE It is time to begin initial preplanning for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs) 31st Annual Regulatory Information Conference (RIC), which will take place March 12-14, 2019.
