In the Matter of Tennessee Valley Authority Docket Nos.50-259 50-260 50-296 BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (BFN)-UNITS 1, 2, AND 3-TVA BFN TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION NO.257-SEISMIC MONITORING TABLES 3.2.J/4.2.J In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.4 and 50.90, we are submitting a request for amendment to licenses DPR-33, DPR-52, an DPR-68 to change the BFN Technical Specifications of units 1, 2, and 3 (enclosure 1).The proposed changes revise tables 3.2.J and 4.2.J for seismic monitoring to reflect the manufacturer's suggested testing frequency for tri axial peak accelerographs and to correct typographical errors i.n.these tables.The description, reason for change, and justification in support of the proposed changes are enclosed (enclosure 2).A proposed determination of no significant hazards consideration is provided in enclosure 3.Enclosed is a check for the$150 amendment fee required by 10 CFR Part 170.12.We request that these specifications be made effective 60 days after issuance in order to update the appropriate procedures.
