There was 1 very small barnacle on the carapace. The turtle was kept for observation until deemed releasable by the veterinarian. The turtle was released on Monday, July 30, 2012 in Brigantine, Atlantic County, NJ. Release weight was 4.0 lbs. No tags were applied due to the turtles size, as per NERO tagging protocol.
