Dunham joins Senior Resident Inspector George Replogle at the site. He succeeds Michael Peck, who was promoted to Senior Resident at the Callaway nuclear plant near Fulton, Missouri.

Zachary starts working at the site on June 17. Since January, 1999, Zachary has served as the resident inspector at the Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant in Wisconsin.

Zachary joined the United States Navy in 1988 as a machinist mate. He was selected for a naval officer commissioning program and in 1993 he received his Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from Oregon State University. From 1993 to late 1998, Zachary served as a Commissioned Naval Officer aboard nuclear powered submarines.

Each U.S. commercial nuclear power plant has at least two NRC resident inspectors.

They serve as the agency's eyes and ears at the facility, conducting regular inspections, monitoring significant work projects and interfacing with plant workers and the public. The resident inspectors can be reached at (509) 377-2627.

Zachary and his wife, who live in Kennewick, WA., will welcome a new baby in late August.
