NRC TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING ON DRAFT SAFETY CULTURE POLICY STATEMENT The NRC is holding a meeting for stakeholders interested in learning more about, or making comments on, a draft safety culture policy statement. The draft policy statement sets forth the Commissions expectation that all licensees and certificate holders establish and maintain a work environment where management and employees are dedicated to putting safety first.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the NRCs Las Vegas Hearing Facility, 3250 Pepper Lane, Las Vegas, Nev. In addition, it will be simultaneously broadcast from the NRC Commission Hearing Room, 11555 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Md.
