Dear Sir or Madam:

In Reference 1, pursuant to 10 CFR 50.82(a)(1 )(i) and 10 CFR 50.4(b)(8), Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (ENO) certified to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) that it had decided to permanently cease power operations at the Palisades Nuclear Plant (PNP) in the spring of 2022.

In this supplement to Reference 1, ENO further clarifies the date of permanent cessation of power operations at PNP by certifying that, pursuant to 10 CFR 50.82(a)(1 )(i) and 10 CFR 50.4(b)(8), it plans to permanently cease power operations at the PNP no later than May 31, 2022. A more specific date for permanent power cessation cannot be provided at this time due to fuel cycle duration variables.
