Category: This is an Information Meeting with a Question and Answer Session. The purpose of this meeting is for the NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to discuss regulatory and technical issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed throughout the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.
Purpose:
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss and seek feedback on the NRCs review and implementation plan for SRM-COMSECY-19-0006, Revised Security Inspection Program Framework. This meeting will discuss the Commissions direction contained in SRM-COMSECY-19-0006, the revision schedule for Inspection Procedure 71130.03, Contingency Response - Force on Force Testing and Inspection Procedure 71130.05, Protective Strategy Evaluation and Performance Evaluation Program, the expected implementation timeline, and additional considerations that will be included in the NRC review. The NRC will also seek feedback from the industry on anticipated plans and challenges for implementation of the revised inspection procedures.
