Pursuant to 10CFR50.90 PPL Susquehanna, LLC (PPL) hereby requests an amendment to the Facility Operating License (FOL) for Susquehanna Steam Electric Station (SSES)

Unit 1 Operating License (NPF-14) and SSES Unit 2 Operating License (NPF-22). This License Amendment Request (LAR) proposes a change to the SSES Cyber Security Plan (CSP) Milestone 8 full implementation date as set forth in the SSES Cyber Security Plan Enclosures 1 and 2 of this letter contain Security-Related Information Withhold Under 10 CFR 2.390

Document Control PLA-7169 Implementation Schedule.

These proposed changes have been reviewed by both the Plant Operations Review Committee (PORC) and the Susquehanna Review Committee (SRC). provides a detailed description of the proposed changes, a technical analysis of the proposed changes, PPL's determination that the proposed changes do not involve a significant hazard consideration, a regulatory analysis of the proposed changes and an environmental evaluation. PPL requests that Enclosure 1, which contains security-related information, be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390. also contains the following non security-related attachments:

  • Attachment 1 provides the existing FOL page for Unit 1 marked up to show the proposed change.
  • Attachment 2 provides the existing FOL page for Unit 2 marked up to show the proposed change. is the proposed revised SSES Cyber Security Plan Implementation Schedule.

The only change to the schedule is the revised regulatory commitment date for full implementation of the NRC approved Cyber Security Plan (Milestone 8). PPL requests that Enclosure 2, which contains security-related information, be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390.

This communication contains the following revised regulatory commitment which will be completed as noted:

Number Commitment Due Date PLA-7169-1 Fully implement the SSES Cyber Security Plan 07/0112018 for all SSEP functions.

The commitment numbers are used by PPL Susquehanna for the internal tracking of SSES regulatory commitments.

In accordance with 10 CFR 50.91, a copy of this application, with attachments, is being provided to the designated Commonwealth of Pennsylvania state official.

PPL requests this license amendment be effective as of its date of issuance. Although this request is neither exigent nor emergency, your review and approval is requested prior to October 30, 2015.
