SUMMARY
OF THE MARCH 4, 2025, PUBLIC MEETING REGARDING ADVANCE ACT SECTION 207 - COMBINED LICENSE REVIEW PROCEDURE The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) conducted a comment-gathering public meeting on the implementation of the Accelerating Deployment of Versatile, Advanced Nuclear for Clean Energy (ADVANCE) Act of 2024, Section 207, Combined License Review Procedure.1 The NRC staff discussed its initial considerations to implement the requirements in ADVANCE Act Section 207 and actively solicited public comments, questions, and ideas.2 The hybrid meeting had 52 attendees including members of the public, representatives from the nuclear industry, and NRC staff.
