Xcel Energy 1717 Wakonade Drive Welch, MN 55089 February 28, 2025 L-PI-25-010 10 CFR 21.21 ATTN: Document Control Desk U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, DC 20555-0001 Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant, Unit 1 Docket No. 50-282 Renewed Facility Operating License No. DPR-42 Closure of Interim Report of a Potential Deviation of 2 inch Globe Valve Northern States Power Company, a Minnesota corporation, doing business as Xcel Energy (hereafter "NSPM"), hereby submits this update to the recent interim report for Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 21.21. By letter dated January 24, 2025, (ADAMS Accession Number ML25027A099)
NSPM submitted an interim report of a potential deviation of an Edward Model 15004T5 2 inch Globe Valve.
The evaluation of the condition is complete. The condition identified was determined not to be reportable in accordance with 10 CFR 21.21 (d).
