U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION FEEDBACK REGARDING WESTINGHOUSE AP300 SMR I&C CONCEPT OF OPERATIONS WHITE PAPER FOR PRE-APPLICATION ENGAGEMENT
Dear Ms. Christian:
By letter dated April 25, 2024 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML24117A339), Westinghouse Electric Company submitted the subject white paper for U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff review. The white paper describes instrumentation and control concepts of operations and human factors engineering program details for the AP300 conceptual design. A pre-submittal meeting was held on March 22, 2024 (ML24124A180).
The proprietary enclosure to this letter provides the staffs feedback and observations for Westinghouse to consider in a subsequent application.
