Tuesday, April 2, 2024 9:47:00 AM Good morning, Dominik,
Today, we had a phone call to talk about the status of the correspondence including the requests for additional information for the CASTOR geo69 storage application. I have been sending staggered RAIs to you from December 2023 to March 2024. I informed you that the RAI letter consolidating the questions that I provided to you in staggered RAIs may be issued within the next week and that I included in the letter that you would have 90 days to respond to the RAIs. You informed me that, since you are currently addressing the RAIs related to the application of the CASTOR geo69 package, you would need four months to respond to the RAIs related to the storage application, which will be around August 2024.
I informed you that the draft certificate for the CASTOR geo69 storage system may be issued in the February/March 2025 time frame, assuming that the RAIs responses are acceptable and that there is no second round of RAIs. This delay is approximately 6 months from the initial schedule. The delay is due to issuing consolidated RAIs 4 months after the timeline provided in the acceptance letter (initial schedule) and providing responses 2 months after the time allotted in the initial schedule.
Lastly, I will be on rotation during the next 3 months, Donald (Don) Habib will be covering for me during this time.
