In Reference 1, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission provided Louisiana Energy Services, LLC, dba Urenco USA (UUSA), Interim Authority to Operate (IATO) its classified cyber networks.

The IATO has six general conditions and one specific condition. In Reference 2, UUSA provided the 1st Quarter Plan of Actions and Milestones (POAM) Update for the year 2023.

UUSA committed to update the POAM in Reference 3 and Reference 4 and discussed the POAM changes, contained within, with DSO/ISB staff on May 30, 2023. Additional weekly meetings with DSO/ISB staff have been arranged to track our progress. In accordance with the General Condition (d) of the IATO, UUSA is providing the AO and CISO the revised quarterly system updated POAM for Classified Systems. Enclosure 1 provides the POAM, Revision 5.a, for the 1st Quarter of 2023.

UUSA requests that the proprietary and security related information contained in this letter be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(d)(1) and RIS 2005-31.
