Thank you for your letter transmitting industry feedback regarding the pre-decisional trial Regulatory Guide 1.247, Acceptabilityof Probabilistic Risk Assessment Results for Advanced Non-Light Water Reactor Risk-Informed Activities, which can be found in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System(ADAMS) under Accession No. ML21246A216. As discussed during the public meeting dated November 3, 2021 (ML21287A111), the staff anticipates issuing the trial Regulatory Guide 1.247 in March 2022 and will consider views and perspectives expressed during that public meeting.
Further, the staff will take into consideration the comments transmitted in your letter and any additional comments received during the trial period for the subsequent revision of the Regulatory Guide.
