Ref: Ltr from W. D. Moir dtd 6/24/87 and telecon, 8/10/87, between T. LaBorde, PSU, and P. Edgeworth, NRC The purpose of this modification is to provide incremental funding and to develop a funding mechanism from funds presently allotted to this contract in order to pay for telemetry services through October, 1987. Accordingly, the contract is modified as follows:
1 Section G.1 - Consideration, is deleted in its entirety and the following is substituted in lieu thereof:

NRC-04-85-ll3-04 Modification No. 4 Page 2 of 2 A. Estimated Cost and Obligation 1 It is estimated that the total cost to the Government for full performance of this contract will be $341,872.02.
- 2. Total funds currently available for payment and allotted to this contract are $341,872.02.
(a) The contract ceiling and total funds currently available are incr eased from $301,813.00 by $40,059.02 to $341,872.02.
(b) The amount of $40,059.02 is to be utilized to pay for seismic data transmission (telemetry) expenses for the period '
April 1985 through June 1986.
(c) A ceiling of $51,545.91 is hereby established within the amount of $301,813.00. This leaves a total of $250,267.09 to be utilized on the Northeastern Seismic Research Program Costs -
Task 4 as described under the basic contract. The amount of i
$51,545.91 represents a not to be exceeded ceiling amount for seismic data transmission (telemetry) expenses for the period July,1986 through October,1987
- 3. It is estimated that the amount currently allotted will cover both telemetry and program costs through October,1987.
All other terms and conditions of the contract remain the same.
