Dear Sir:
South Carolina Electric & Gas Company (SCE&G) previously submitted Amendment 19 to the Physical Security Plan by letter dated September 24, 1987. This.
Amendment was submitted on single-sided pages, whereas previous amendments were printed on double-sided pages. When replacing the double-sided pages with the single-sided pages of Amendment 19, some Plan holders'could have

inadvertently destroyed the required second-sided pages.

The enclosed pages represent the converse pages of Amendment 19 which should be inserted into the Physical Security Plan to supplement-the previous submittal. No amendment changes have been made.to these pages. This reissue does not degrade the safeguards effectiveness of the. Physical Security Plan or Safeguards Contingency Plan as described in 10CFR50.54(p).
The enclosure to this letter contains Safeguards Information of a type.
specified in 10CFR73.21 and must be withheld from public disclosure.
