APPENDIX A NOTICE OF NONCONFORMANCE 1

Static-0-Ring Docket No. 99900824/87-01

1. 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix B, Criterion X, " Inspections," states, in part, "A program for inspections of activities affecting quality shall be established and executed by...the organization performing the activity to verify conformance with the procedures and drawings for accomplishing the activity."

The Static-0-Ring (SOR) Quality Assurance Manual, 8303-100, Section 10.6, states, in part, " Parts and/or materials are inspected when received against... drawings."

Contrary to the above, the adjustment screw 102/103 OP, manufactured to Drawing No. 8305-034, Revision 2, dated November 13, 1986, was observed in the nuclear part storage area with documentation showing it had been l receipt inspected to Drawing No. 8305-034, Revision 1, dated June 22, 1984. l l
