The results of the risk-ir. formed inservice insWJon (ISI) pilot plant application study for Arkansas. Nuclear One,- Unit 2- (ANO-2) were submitted to - the Nuclear Regulatory Commission by letter dated; September 30,1997 '(2CAN099706).
Eight system risk evaluations were included with the submittal: _1)_high pressure safety injection, 2) reactor
. coolant,' 3) chemical and _ volume control, 4) containment spray, 5) low pressure safety
- irioction and shutdown cooling,.6) emergency feedwater, 7) main feedwater, and 8) main -
steam. The lettet included a commitment to submit the fmal system risk evaluation for the service water system in December 1997.~
The December submittal date was contingent upon the availability of contract support to-perforra th? consequence evaluation of the service water system. The original schedule called for the vendor to begin work in early October 1997.< Due to delays in securing a contract, the vendor was not authorized to begir. work until November 25,1997. Based on this delay, and
- allowing for review by the plant project team and incorporation of resultant comrrats, we believe a submittal date of March 31,1998, is achievable.
