Background
Tennessee Valley Authority is licensed under NRC Materials License No. SNM.1861 to receive, possess, inspect, and store uranium enriched in the U-235 isotope contained in fuel assemblies and loose rods. The license is scheduled to expire on October 31, 1988. The licensee requested that the license expiration date be extended to October 31, 1993.
Discussion The extension of the storage license will not affect nuclear criticality safety, t radiation safety, or other conditions of storage. Cendition 4 of the license i should be revised as follows:
October 31, 1993, or upon conversion of Construction Pemit No. CPPR-91 -
to an operating license, whichever is earlier. !
