RESPONSE TO GENERIC LETTER 83-28 ITEMS 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.2.1, 3.2.2, 4.1 AND 4.5.1 (POST-MAINTENANCE TESTING AND REACTOR j TRIP SYSTEM RELIABILITY) FOR MILLSTONE UNIT 2 We have completed our review of your November 8,1983 response to Generic Letter 83-28 Items 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.2.1 and 3.2.2 Post-Maintenance Testing of Reactor Trip System Components and all other Safety-Related Equipment, and Items 4.1 and 4.5.1 Reactor Trip System Reliability, for Millstone Unit 2. Items 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.2.1 and 3.2.2 are concerned with tha review of vendor and engineering recommendations concerning post-maintenance operability testing

. of reactor trips components, and all other safety related components.

Item 4.1 is concerned with the review of vendor recommended reactor trip breaker

, modifications while Item 4.5.1 is concerned with the on-line functional testing of the reactor trip system.
