Correction to Correspondence Regarding Siren Pole Restoration Gentlemen:

In a letter dated October 25,1991 [ Reference (b)l, New flampshire Yankee (NilY) provided a description of the proposed process for the restoration of siren poles in the Massachusetts portion of the Seabrook Sta: ion Emergency Planning Zone (EFZ). Attachment I to the siren conversion proposal included a map entitled "Seabrook Station - Siren Coverage for the Public Alert and Notification System in Massachusetts," which depicts the Vehicle Alert and Notification System (VANS) siren locations, it has been brought to our attention that this specific map was inadvertently labeled " Proprietary Information" during the ieproduction process.

Accordingly, enclosed please find a replacement copy of the aforementioned map without the proprietary reference.

Prior to the start of the Atomic Safety Licensing floard (ASLII) hearings regarding the Public Alert and Notification System for the Massachusetts portion of the Seabrook Station EPZ, the VANS siren locations were proprietary information pursuant to the ASL13's Protective Order [ Reference (c)]. The VANS siren locations were no longer considered to be proprietary information as of the start of those ASLII hearings. Additionally, the VANS locations have previously been disclosed to the public and published in the Seabrook Plan for Massachusetts Communities (SPMC), Appendix A.

The other maps accompanying the siren conversion proposal in<uded Attachment II, entitled "Seabrook Station - Siren Coverage for the Public Alert and Notification System in Massachusetts " r d Attachment J, entitled " VANS Location Maps

These maps depict the proposed fixed pole mounted siren locations in Massachusetts, and a detail of each of the current VANS routes, respectively. These maps correctly do not contain any proprietary reference.
