9-1 to 9-30 Unit Two entered the month at a power level of 739 MWe and operat.ed continuously throughout the entire month (with normal power reductions on weekends for surveillances/,
reaching a power level of 872 MWe with a capacity factor of 95.2% and an availability of 100%.
4 Summary of Operating Experience Unit Three September, 1983 9-1 to 9-30 Unit Three entered the month operating at a power level of 538 MWe and operated continuously throughout almost the entire month (with normal power reductions on weekends for surveillances), reaching a power level of 538 MWe with a capacity factor of 60.7%
and an availability of 99.99%.
9-30 Unit Three was shutdown late Friday to commence its scheduled refueling and equipment overhaul outage. Major work includes Inservice inspection, CRD replacements, and H.P. Turbine overhaul.
