7550-01 UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-293-BOSTON EDISON COMPANY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY,,
OPERATING LICENSE The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the _ Commission) has issued Amendment No. 69 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-35 issued to Boston Edis'on Company (the license,e) which revised the Technical Specifications for operation of the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station (the f'acility) located near,
' Plymouth, Massachusetts. The amendment is effective as of its date of issuance.
The amendment revises-the Technical Specifications to incorporate re-visions to reflect organizational changes at Boston Edison related to nuclear activities both at Pilgrim Station and offsite.
The application for the amendment complies with the standards and re-quirements of the Atomic Energy ct of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations. The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Commission's rules _and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment.
Prior public notice of this amendment was not required since it does.not involve a significant hazards consideration.
The Commission has determined that the issuance of this Amendment will

not result in any significant enviromental impact and that pursuant to 10 CFR 51.5(d)(4) an enyoronmental impact statement or negative declaration and
$$gnb envi,ronmental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with the eg Oc issuance of the amendment.
