Wheeler Project Manager Licensing Branch No. 3 Division of Licensing U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, D.C. 20555 Re: Seabrook Station, New Hampshire

Dear Mr. Wheeler:

Please be advised that this office has been receiving notices of meetings only one day before the scheduled date of same.

For an example, please note on the copy of the enclosed notice, the meeting was scheduled for September 24 and our office received said notice on September 23. It is difficult to send someone from this office to attend such meetings unless some very hurried rescheduling of other commitments is possible.

This is not always se and thus, someone from our office cannot always be in attendance. We would appreciate your efforts in seeing that said notices are mailed well in advance that we may be sure to have ample time, that is to say more than one day, to arrange for a member of our staff to attend said meetings. Thank you for your consideration. 40/
