i Gentlemen:
By Nuclear Regulatory Commission (Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation) letter of August 24, 1982, Georgia Power Company was requested to document how the criteria of NUREG-0737 Item II.B.3 will be satisfied at Plant Hatch Units 1 and 2.
A schedule for this submittal was requested by September 17, 1982.
In response to this request, Georgia Power Company proposes to make this submittal in two parts.
Units 1 and 2 will be addressed in separate
- reports, each of which will be submitted within 30 days following implementation of Item II.B.3 at the respective unit.
As explained in our letter of June 7, 1982, implementation of Item II.B.3 is currently scheduled as follows:
Unit 1:
End of scheduled refueling outage following cycle 58, currently scheduled to end in early Spring 1983 i
Unit 2:
End of scheduled refueling outage following cycle 3, currently j
