In our response of December 14, 1982, regarding the, subject bulletin, we stated that: "As part of the upcoming Unit 2 outage, we intend to replace the Model 1151 transmitters with Model 11538 transmitters."
Due to engineering design problems, installation will be delayed until the Unit 2 refueling outage at the end of cycle 4 ( i. e., Spring 1984).
Further, it is our intention, based on current engineering design, to replace the ll51A and 1151D transmitters in the MSIV leakage control system with equipment qualified per NUREG-0588, but not necessarily the Model 11538 transmitters.
