Dear Mr. Schwencer:

The purpose of this letter is to request the following expedited change in Technical Specifications for LaSalle County Station Unit 1:

Change Request NPF-ll/82-ll Revise the 18 month Tech Spec Surveillance Requirements 4.7.3.c.2 and Bases 3/4.7.3 to account for flow dif ferences between the test flow path and the normal flow path.

This change is one Class III amendment.

This proposed change is addressed in Attachment A. This change has received on-site and off-site review and approval. Attachment B lists the status of Technical Specification Change Requests for LaSalle.

Pursuant to 10 CFR 170, this change reflects one Class III amendment. A remittance o f $4,000 is, therefore, enclosed.
