Enclosed herewith please find Suffolk County's Objections to Prehearing Conference Order And Motion For Reconsideration, Or In The Alternative, For Certification To The Commission.
Pursuant to the Board's Order of July 27, 1982, Suffolk County's objection was due on Monday, August 2, 1982.
Due to circumstances beyond counsel's control -- a breakdown of its word processing equipment -- the County was unable to meet that deadline.
Counsel contacted the Board on the afternoon of August 2, 1982 and moved at that time for permission to file Suffolk County's objections out of time.
Counsel was informed that afternoon that Judge Morris granted that motion for good cause shown.
Suffolk County regrets any inconvenience caused to the Board or to the parties.
