Dear Mr. Phillips:
Attached is a copy of the report, " Westinghouse Evaluation of RVLIS Performance at the Semiscale Test Facility for Test S-IB-1."
This report discusses the RVLIS performance during the test that was intended to simulate a 100 percent communicative, cold leg break loss of coolant accident. This is the final test evaluation report of RVLIS performance at the semiscale facility.
Also attached is a copy of the report, " Virgil C. Summer Reactor Vessel i
Level Instrumentation System Functional Test." This report describes an on-site test performed at Virgil C. Summer to verify the operation of the RVLIS Upper Plenum and Narrow Range indicators.
