Schmitendorf 82-08 (A) (1) At 0000 on May 1,1982 the unit was at 50% power and continuing the rampdown, at 150 mwe per hour, to off the line for repair of the 5B feed water heater. The generator / turbine was taken off the line at 0241 with the reactor maintained critical in Mode 2. At 0934 an automatic reactor trip occurred. While adjusting the power range nuclear instrument trip setpoints a high flux rate trip was not cleared prior to exiting the channel. The trip occurred while adjusting and testing another channel due to the 2 of 4 logic being satisfied for the high flux rate trip.

82-09 (A) (1) At 0600 on May 8 with the unit at 100% power a rampdown, at 150 mwe per hour, followed by a normal reactor shutdown was commenced. The generator / turbine was taken off line at 1128. The reactor shutdown was commenced at 1627 by driving the control rods in placing the unit in Mode 3. The unit was taken to cold shutdown (Mode 5). The unit was shutdown in order to repair a manway on "C" S/G.

82-10 (C) (1) At 2320 on May 16 with the unit at 94% power a rampdown, at 150 mwe per hour, followed by a normal reactor shutdown was commenced. The generator / turbine was taken off line at 0530 on May 17. The reactor shutdown was commenced at 0647 by driving the control rods in; placing the unit in mode 3.The unit was shutdown due to "A" S/G loose parts monitor in alarm.

A decision was made to commence the refueling outage. The normal refueling outage had been scheduled to start on May 21.
