Dear Administrative Judges:
In accordance with the Licensing Board's Memorandum and Order of September 9, 1981, this letter is to inform the Licensing Board of the discovery activities involving the NRC Staff during the previous two months.
During this period the Staff received one set of interrogatories from Intervenor Sunflower Alliance and a second set from the Ohio Citizens for Responsible Energy.
I have had several conversations with Mr. Daniel Wilt, Counsel for Sunflower, concerning Sunflower's interrogatories. His cooperation is appreciated. The Staff intends to respond voluntarily to this request and is currently completing its answers.- The Staff is also in the process of preparing a response to OCRE's request.
The Staff will serve interrogatories on the various Intervenors within the next two weeks.
