Dear Sirs:
Regulatory Guide 1.97 Updated IJnplemenMi_on_Slatits The purpose of this letter is to provide the final status of Regulatory Guide 1.97 implementation at the Trojan Nuclear Plant (TNP). Based on updated information, Portland General Electric Company (PGE) has identified that only two design change commitments remain to_be implemented:
(1) Reactor Coolant Syst,em Wide-Range Hot-Leg and Cold-Leg Temperature, and (2) Steam Generator Wide-Range Level. As a result of PGE's submittal of January 27, 1993, which stated PGE's intent not to restart the 174P, the remaining design changes will not be implemented.
If in the future PGE's decision to close the TNP is reversed, these commitments will be revisited.
Sincerely, L
