Under separate cover, we are transmitting three (3) original and forty (40) conformed copies of an application for Amendment to Facility Operating License No. NPF-3 for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1.
i This application proposes that the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. I " Industrial Secuttty Plan" AD 1808.00 be revised to reflect the changes attached. The attached includes the proposed changes and their safety evaluation. The changes concern the facility access control system. These changes could potentially be considered to decrease '.he effectiveness of the currently approved security plan.
however, still meet the security requirements that assure che health and safety of the public. As a result, these are submitted for your review and approval in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54 (p).
The amendment request involves a change of Class III type.
Enclosed is a check for $4,000 as requested by 10 CFR 170.22.
Application is being made to withhold the enclosed information from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790 (d).
