Gentlemen:
This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Jack E. Whitten of this office on September 22, 1981, of the activities authorized by NRC Byproduct Material License 25-02337-03 and to the discussion of our findings held by the inspector with Dr. pod Wisuser of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection was an examination of the activities conducted under the license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Consnission's rules and regulations, and the conditions of the license. The inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews of personnel, independent measurements, and observations by the inspector.
No violations of NRC requirements were found during this inspection.
Mr. Whitten also reviewed the action you had taken with respect to two violations abserved during our previous inspection, which was conducted March 28, 1978. He verified that the corrective action with respect to these items was implemented as stated in your replies of May 8 and June 7,1978 to our letters dated April 17 and May 23,19'i8.
