NEW INFORMATION TO LICENSING BOAR 05 Cn Aaril 18,1978, SECY-78-E12 detailed staff precedures for notifying Licensing Boards of new information that mignt be relevant and material
- s specific ongoing adjudicatory proceedings. SECY-73-212 was folicwed by an Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards (NMSS) policy and procedures letter dated July 19, 1978, which set forth the basic provisions of the new notificatien policy and the precedures to be ocserved within " MSS in order to meet the requirements of the policy.
Tne precedures set forth in both of these papers are currently undergoing revisions.
In the interim, the Waste Management staff shall follow the procedures sat out on Attachment A to this memorandum for informing Licensing Boards of information that is material and relevant to an issue before a Board. Attachment S contains a listing of the cases pending before Licensing Boards, Appeal Boards, and the Censnission as of July 1979.
Madonna Krug will act as the coordinator for the Division of Waste Management on matters relating to the notificaticn of Licensing Scards.
