REFER TO: RIV 4/ 2 DOCKET NOS. 50-458/l&E BULLETIN 80-16 50-459/l&E BULLETIN 80-16 llT-This response is Gulf States Utilities Company's (GSU) quarterly report referred to in our May 6,1981, letter con-cerning our NSSS vendor (General Electric) activities on ISE Bulletin 80-16, " Potential Misapplication of Rosemount, Inc.
Models 1151 and 11">2 Pressure Transmitters With Either "A" or "D" Output Codes." General Electric has informed us that a Fleid Disposition Instruction (FDI) has been issued to determine if the instruments IIsted in our December 2,1980, letter are acceptable u:ner certain conditions during plant operations.
The last shipment of transmitters shculd arrive at the River Be d Station site in August, 1981. After its arrival, the exami-nation and analysis can be completed. Our response will include a description of any necessary corrective actions for any instru-ments found unacceptable. A final resolution on the subject correspondence is currently anticipated to be complete by September 21, 1981, p//
