Subject:

[External_Sender] Bellefonte Nuclear Plant- Docket Nos. 50-438 and 50-439; NRC-2019-0228 Date: Monday, December 09, 2019 4:34:19 PM Chairman:

I write in support of the transfer of permits from TVA to Nuclear Development, LLC for the Bellefonte Nuclear Plant.

As the State Senator Representing Jackson County, I would be remiss if I did not mention how important this project is to our County, State and Region. The economic impact of this project will be tremendous and may offset some of the impacts felt with TVAs closure of Widows Creek Plant and furthermore their abandonment of the completion of the Bellefonte Nuclear project.

The completion of this project has been talked about for years and it is time for it to come to fruition. If not under TVA, then under the leadership of Nuclear Developments Team. Not only has this been a let down over the years, but also a tremendous waste of money, our rate payer dollars.

I fully stand behind this project and respectfully ask that you give every consideration to this request.

Sincerely, Steve Livingston Senator, District 8
