DAVIS-BESSE 1 In a meeting with Projects on February 23, 1977, Davis-Besse I was identified as one of several plants of di priority. Accordingly, the following work is deservinc of 1 mediate attention on Davis-Besse 1:
1.
Review of B&W ECCS calculational errors and SER sucolerent.
2.
Review of overoressure protection submittal.
3.
Final review and recomendations on a) locking out power to nHR isolation valves b) DHR ranual byoass 4
Rod bow Deckace review.
5.
Tech Scec review.
To expedite staff raview of these areas, I have enlisted the belo of Al Ignatonis (Item 1) and Ron Frahm (Iten 2).
It is anticipated that this effort will be intensive for the next 2-3 weeks richt uo to the coint of scheduled fuel load. A5 a result, the followinn areas ray have a minor setback:
- PBF program reassessment
- FFTF review
