and Light Company (AP&L).and Louisiana Power and Light Company (LP&L) submitted i
proposed license amendments to designate a new company, Entergy Operations, Inc. (E01), as the licensed operator for Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1, Arkansas Nuclear One Units 1 and 2 and Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3 i
respectively
- AP&L, LP&L and SERI are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Entergy Corporation (Entergy), formerly known as fliddle South Utilities, Inc.
E01 will also become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Entergy. Entergy plans for E01 to become its system-wide nuclear operating company by assuming operating and manage-l ment responsibility for all of the nuclear plants currently operated by the cap-r tioned licensees.

- A similar amendment request was submitted by SERI on August 21, 1989, to designate EDI as the entity licensed to possess and construct Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 2.
